Community Links

At Hart Plain we are continually developing various links with different parts of the community through our curriculum. These links include visits to places in the locality, performing at community events, entertaining the residents of our local elderly persons' home and inviting people into school. We believe this is a valuable part of school life. It is one of the aims of the school to make the children aware of themselves as members, not only of the school community, but of a much wider community.

The following information is a broad overview of the links that we are promoting throughout the school. Please also look at our photographs in the 'Gallery' section of the website.

Hart Plain Infant School

We want to make the transfer between Infant and Junior school as smooth as possible and as such we see ourselves as part of the Hart Plain campus of schools. We have a variety of links with the Infant School which will only grow in number and strength over the course of the year.
