Statutory Test Information (SATs)
In Year 6 our pupils are assessed in two core subjects at the end of Key Stage 2. Assessments in English and Maths were completed by teachers who determined the current level of achievement taking into account ALL aspects (Attainment Targets) of that subject, and through the national tests. For the cohort leaving Year 6 in 2015, we expect all children to achieve at least two levels of progress from Key Stage 1, and to attain at least a Level 4 in all core subjects.
For the cohort leaving Year 6 in 2016, there will be a different system, based on end of year expectations, and we will be giving parents information about this over the course of the year.
The children will be sitting their statutory Key Stage tests in the week beginning 9th May 2016, and there will be no authorised non-emergency medical absence during this week.
